# 2023 Holidays Challenge

It’s the year end festive period, and we know that many community members are either on break, back in their hometowns or away on holidays. 

To help you facilitate activity in your community during this period, Onboard is launching the <mark style="color:purple;">**Onboard Holidays Challenge**</mark>!\
\
Join us to launch a challenge in your community during this season, and **receive USD$100 in sponsorship** to reward winners of your challenge.

### **⚡️Criteria to unlock prize sponsorship**

* [ ] Register your interest via any of the following methods:
  * Direct messaging Valerie on Telegram at @valpopcornbread
  * Sending an email to <valerie@onboard.dev>
* [ ] Launch 1x challenge on Onboard between **1 December 2023 - 15 January 2024**&#x20;
* [ ] Post about the challenge on your socials
  * Post it on either LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, wherever your community is!
  * Remember to tag Onboard in your post 🙂
* [ ] Receive at least 5x submissions for your challenge

### 💡 Designing & launching the Challenge

There are no limits to the types of challenges you can launch - you can be as creative as possible with designing a problem statement that is relevant for your community.

Remember to use the <mark style="color:purple;">`SUBMIT`</mark> quest type to launch your challenge. Types of files that are currently supported for submission are:

* .pdf, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, and .webp file extensions
* text answers

### **🏆 Claiming the prize sponsorship**

Upon meeting all [4 criteria](#criteria-to-unlock-prize-sponsorship), send a direct message on Telegram / email Valerie with the following:

1. Screenshot of quest on your Onboard community page
2. Screenshot of social media post
3. Screenshot of the number of submissions for the quest

Please take note of the following:

* Redemptions will close on 15 January 2024. All redemptions should be made before this date.
* All sponsorships will be paid out on 30 January 2023.
* Sponsorships will be paid out in either:
  * Cryptocurrency in USDC (preferred chains: MATIC/BSC/AVAX/ARB/SOL)
  * Paypal (\*withdrawal fees from Paypal might be applicable)

Other terms & conditions:

* Sponsorship can only be used for the purpose of rewarding winners of the challenge.
* Each community can redeem up to 1x sponsorship amount of USD$100. However, this amount can be split between multiple challenges.
* The Onboard team has the right to update the terms of the challenge whenever required.
